Under Armour ClutchFit Drive Stephen Curry PE ‘USA - away’
Release Date: August 19, 2014
In the summer of 2014, Stephen Curry debuted the Under Armour ClutchFit Drive PE ‘USA’ during Team USA's preparations for the 2014 FIBA World Cup. On August 31, 2014, he introduced the navy colorway in a game against Turkey, where the United States triumphed 98-71. Curry’s standout performance in the tournament came in the navy ClutchFit Drive during the final Group Match against Ukraine, where he recorded 14 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 3 three-pointers.
The Under Armour ClutchFit Drive PE ‘USA’ was notable for featuring Stephen Curry’s first ‘SC/30’ logo on the tongue— a logo that would later become synonymous with his signature line, which was launched in early 2015.
Released on August 19, 2014, the ClutchFit Drive ‘USA’ PE came in two distinct colorways—one primarily white and the other predominantly navy. These shoes were produced in very limited quantities and were sold exclusively at select retailers, including Foot Locker and Champs in Charlotte, NC, and the Bay Area, CA, as well as Eastbay and the Under Armour website.
