Under Armour ClutchFit Drive Stephen Curry PE ‘USA - home’

Release Date: August 19, 2014

Stephen Curry debuted the Under Armour ClutchFit Drive PE ‘USA’ during Team USA’s practice for the 2014 FIBA World Cup. On August 30, 2014, he introduced the white ‘USA’ colorway on court during the team’s first group match against Finland, where Team USA triumphed 114-55. The white colorway gained further prominence on September 14, 2014, when Curry wore them to secure the Gold Medal in a victory over Serbia. In that game, he contributed 10 points, 1 rebound, and 2 made three-pointers.

The Under Armour ClutchFit Drive PE ‘USA’ marked the first appearance of Stephen Curry’s ‘SC/30’ logo, located on the tongue. This logo would later become the hallmark of his signature sneaker line, launched in early 2015. The ClutchFit Drive introduced Under Armour's innovative ClutchFit technology, designed to function like a second skin. This technology adjusts and flexes naturally with a player’s foot, offering a tailored fit that supports every movement. Additional features of the shoe include a 3D molded tongue for optimal fit, an external heel counter for stability, and full-length Micro G cushioning for enhanced support and shock absorption.

Released on August 19, 2014, the ClutchFit Drive ‘USA’ PE was available in two colorways—primarily white and primarily navy. Both versions were sold in very limited quantities at select Foot Locker and Champs locations in Charlotte, NC, and the Bay Area, CA, as well as through Eastbay and the Under Armour website.
