Curry 9 ‘Now You See Me’

Release Date: June 17, 2022

The 2021-22 NBA All-Star Game, held on February 20, 2022, in Cleveland, marked a special moment as it took place in the birth city of Stephen Curry.

For this event, Curry debuted the Curry 9 ‘Now You See Me,’ a shoe inspired by the Sesame Street character Abby Cadabby. The design features a primarily pink upper and the first-ever glow-in-the-dark Flotro outsole in a light cream color. Additional details include fur fabric on the tongues and iridescent sparkles, reflecting Abby’s magic wand. The Curry 9 ‘Abby Cadabby’ is part of a broader collaboration with Sesame Street, with other colorways celebrating various characters from the beloved children’s show.

During the All-Star Game, Curry put on an unforgettable performance, scoring 50 points, including a record-setting 16 three-pointers. His stellar play helped Team LeBron secure victory over Team Durant. Curry also earned his first Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP award and was named one of the NBA’s 75 Greatest Players of All Time.
