The Curry 9 PE ‘B&E’ was a Player Edition exclusive, never released to the public and only distributed to Under Armour athletes. First seen during the 2022 NBA Playoffs, Stephen Curry wore the Curry 9 PE ‘B&E’ during a practice session on May 2, 2022, between Game 1 and Game 2 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals against the Memphis Grizzlies. Donovan Mitchell was also spotted wearing the PE during a pre-game shootaround in January 2025.
The design of the Curry 9 PE ‘B&E’ draws inspiration from Sesame Street, with a playful mismatched color scheme. The left shoe features a predominantly green color block, representing Bert, while the right shoe boasts a predominantly blue color block, representing Ernie.
